Recently I went to the shops and found a cool little book called “Cooking from the Market: Fruit”. It basically contains a couple of recipes on ways to use fruit. As someone who frequently ends up with too many pieces of fruit left over (sometimes from garden production and sometimes from purchases for school lunch) I was excited by a book that gives me a few different ways to use them (one can only eat so much banana bread!).
Since I thought it looked nifty, and to celebrate the approach of Summer, Christmas (and my first batch of jam for the year) I thought I would purchase another one for a giveaway!
So here’s your chance to enter to win a copy of the book. Keep it for yourself, or give it to someone for Christmas (instant present!). To enter all you have to do is leave a comment below telling me which fruit you always have left over – and what you do with it! A winner will be chosen at random and the competition closes at 11:59pm 1st December AEST. Please, only one comment per person.
Personally I can’t wait to make the raspberry and white chocolate mousse…once my raspberries finish ripening anyway!
I always have apples left over! I like to make them into an apple crumble. 🙂
